Hon. Membe arrives in New York to attend the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly


H.E. Mwanaidi Sinare Maajar, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania in the United States of America and Mexico welcomes Hon. Bernard K. Membe (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation upon his arrival at the John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport in New York, U.S.A.  Hon. Membe is in New York to address the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of H.E. President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania in this year's 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA - 67).  Also in the photo is Ambassador Celestine Mushy (center), Director of the Department for Multilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.

Ambassador Manongi (right) briefs Hon. Membe about upcoming bilateral meetings, side events and the 67th United Nations General Assembly.


Hon. Membe (left) gets briefed about the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA - 67).  In the photo are Ambassador Manongi (2nd left), Mr. Modest Jonathan Mero (3rd left), Minister Plenipotentiary at the Permanent Mission of the United Republic of Tanzania to the UN.  Others are Ambassador Maajar (2nd right) and Ambassador Mushy (1st right). The 67th UNGA opened last Tuesday on 18 September, 2012 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, in U.S.A. under the Presidency of H.E. Vuk Jeremic, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia.  The 67th UNGA is expected to end on December 24, 2012.
